Originally from Phoenix, AZ. Diana arrived in Oklahoma in 2010 with her husband and two children. She transferred here with her corporate position in human resources staffing for nuclear power plants but soon realized her long time passion for the beauty industry would become a reality. Although acquiring her cosmetology license in Arizona she had never had the opportunity to work behind the chair - only platform work, weddings and events. So began her journey testing for her cosmetology licensure here in OKC.
Within a few years she had acquired her own salon. The Art of Image Salon Spa in Edmond Oklahoma. In 2015 that building was sold and she decided to concentrate her efforts on her own clientele expanding her training with services which included hair replacement systems.
Diana also enjoys giving back to the community and helping those less fortunate and in need of beauty services - cancer patients, people working their way back into society coming from domestic violence situations or persons with incarceration history. Working closely with organizations like Suited for success and Dress for Success. She also continued her advisory board position with Francis Tuttle Cosmetology Board, guest speaking and judging annual competitions. She is also active within the surrounding communities mentoring new graduates. In 2019 she decided to pursue her certified medical micropigmentation license and is now a licensed cosmetic medical tattooist and permanent make up artist. Diana continually strives to learn new world wide techniques that can benefit her existing clientele. Attending the international permanent makeup show in Miami Beach in 2019 she was able to train from some of the best in the industry. Areola restoration, scar camouflage and scalp micro pigmentation are a few of the cutting edge techniques she offers.
